Delete your Apnar Doctor account
You can close your account and request erasure of your personal data at any time — from inside the app, or by submitting the request on this page. Some medical and transaction records must be retained for a fixed period under Bangladeshi law; what we keep and for how long is set out below.
Option 1 — delete from inside the app
Open Apnar Doctor and go to Settings from the bottom navigation.
Tap Account & security, then Delete account.
Confirm with the one-time code sent to your registered mobile number. Deletion is irreversible once confirmed.
Option 2 — request it here
If you no longer have access to the app or your registered number, submit the online account deletion form below. You can also email or call our Grievance Officer directly.
Fill in the account deletion form with the name and mobile number registered on your account. We verify identity before acting on any request, and reply to the contact details you provide.

Your profile and contact details, dependent profiles you created, saved preferences, notification settings, device identifiers, support conversations, and your Digital Health Card and QR references.
Consultation, prescription and diagnostic records held under medical record-keeping rules, and payment and tax records for completed transactions. These are kept only for the period the law requires, then securely deleted or anonymised. Records held by MCWH as your treating facility are governed by the hospital's own retention obligations.
We acknowledge your request within 7 days, verify your identity, and complete deletion within the timeframe required by the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026. You will receive written confirmation once it is done.
Download any prescriptions and reports you want to keep — once the account is deleted you will no longer be able to access them from the app. Active membership benefits end on deletion and unused plan time is treated under section 5.4 of the Terms. Upcoming appointments and test bookings are cancelled.
You can also access your data, correct it, export it, or withdraw consent without closing your account.
